About Me

Rosa Bailey is a Licensed Professional Counselor trained in individual and family therapy. She has specialized in teens and plays therapy, as well as depression in adults. Family therapy is an important component of her treatment when working with children and teens. Rosa Bailey provides play therapy and some forms of expressive art therapy to help clients express emotions without having to verbalize how they feel.

With over 5 years of experience as a counselor in various settings, and as a graduate of Dallas Baptist University specializing in Counseling, she is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are crisis counseling, teen counseling, blended families, depression/anxiety, and children's play therapy.

Rosa Bailey is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

Rosa Bailey is the mother of one daughter and has been a single parent for over 10 years; this experience allows her to have a greater understanding of the struggles that single parents and those trying to blend families face. Also, being a Christian, she demonstrates these values and is comfortable discussing spiritual issues when clients bring it up. Rosa Bailey believes "they will know we are Christians by our love" and practices from that perspective. Spiritual or religious matters discussed are at the discretion of the client.
